A frost in the dew covers all

the abandoned landscape,

sighing a lonely lament

for me of lost joy

    thank you so much, Lavender. I will take it as such — it’s a gloomy thing, to be sure, and not the type of poem I would want to always write, but sometimes it just comes
    out that way! I appreciate your visit a ton!
